Many of us are probably interested in the presence of certain names in a pedigree. I am personally fascinated by Ilo Hanover, the great mare that also has become the subject of an article here on the Blood Bank (only in Swedish so far). Others want to create pedigrees with the right "dose" from different stallions or get a large impact from certain special mares.
There has since some time now existed a tool which enables analysis regarding ten specific names (see New information in the pedigree analysis) The news is that now you can choose these names yourself. I have used an analogy from chemistry and called these names analytes (a substance to be measured when analyzing a different substance).
